This provision meets requirements Children are happy, relaxed and have lots of fun at this warm and welcoming out-of-school club. They form secure bonds with the kind staff, who know them well. When children first begin to attend, the deputy manager meets with parents, carers and children to gather a range of information about children's individual interests and care needs.

This helps children to quickly settle into staff's care and supports staff to plan appropriate play activities from the outset.Children move freely around the spacious room to engage in a wide range of play activities. They dress up in costumes and pretend to be a superhero.

Children fo...cus for long periods of time as they cut and stick craft materials onto paper to make pictures to take home. They are proud of their achievements and place their picture safely with their belongings. Staff are good role models.

They treat children with kindness and respect. Children mirror these respectful interactions and play cooperatively with their friends. Older children are caring and patient.

They interact positively with their younger friends. Older children are keen to help younger children build structures with soft bricks in the construction area and play tabletop football with them.

Leaders provide all children with comfortable surroundings and a wide array of good-quality toys and resources which meet their individual needs.

They understand the importance of working in partnership with other settings that children attend, to offer a consistent approach to children's care and development.The experienced staff team works well together. Staff are very happy in their roles.

Children listen attentively and follow staff's instructions as they engage in group games. They negotiate space and move their bodies in different ways. Children skilfully ride on wheeled toys.

Staff offer them lots of encouragement and praise for their achievements.
